1. METHODS FOR ESTIMATING THE OPTIMAL PLOT SIZE FOR BLACK OAT, COMMON VETCH AND FORAGE TURNIP INTERCROPPING

2. Optimal experimental plot size for papaya cultivation

3. Optimal size of experimental plots of papaya trees using a modified maximum curvature method

4. Estimation of optimum experimental plot size for taro culture

5. Optimum plot size of planting and bio-agroeconomic revenues from arugula-carrot intercropping systems in a semi-arid region
Abstract The production of vegetable crops has been characterized as a highly intensive activity in the use of soil, water, inputs and labor in semi-arid regions, being practiced mostly by small family farmers as a way of subsistence, or in the small-scale commercialization of surplus production. Among the agricultural practices that have been successfully u

6. Experimental procedures for evaluating the common bean reaction to white mold / Procedimentos experimentais para avaliaÃÃo da reaÃÃo do feijoeiro ao mofo branco
The present study was carried out to determine the optimal plot size and the ideal number of repetitions in experiments using an oxalic acid solution as a method to discriminate genotypes with physiological resistance to white mold in the common bean. In addition, it was also verified if successive generations of S. sclerotiorum multiplication, in potato dex

7. DEPENDÊNCIA ENTRE O TAMANHO DA UNIDADE BÁSICA E AS ESTIMATIVAS DAS DIMENSÕES DA PARCELA EXPERIMENTAL DE BATATA / DEPENDENCE BETWEEN THE SIZE OF BASIC UNIT AND THE ESTIMATIONS OF POTATO EXPERIMENTAL PLOT DIMENSIONS
A uniformity trail with potato was carried out at potato seed production area of FEPAGRO, Julio de Castilhos city, in 2003 agricultural year. Tuber yield of 3456 hills was evaluated with a set of basic units (BU) compound of 1; 2; 3; 4; 6; 8 and 12 hills per BU, in order to study the effect of size of BU about experimental plot dimensions, with width (W) and

Herbage production and transformations of the fertilizer nitrogen in irrigated tanzania grass.
Whilst grazing management is a key component in pastoral systems little effort has been made to determine the adequate grazing intensity for tropical pastures, especially under irrigated conditions. The economical attractiveness of irrigated pasture systems depends on high pasture productivity, meaning that fertilizer nitrogen (N) must be used. However, to m

9. Evidence for two domains of growth temperature for the psychrotrophic bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens MF0.
The variations in the maximal specific growth rate of the psychrotrophic bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens MF0 with respect to temperature were studied between 0 and 30 degrees C (optimal for growth). The Arrhenius plot showed a drastic change in slope at the intermediate temperature of 17 degrees C. Over the cold domain from 0 to 17 degrees C, the temperatu
