1. Somatic embryos from Phalaenopsis classic Spotted Pink (Orchidaceae) protocorms

2. Characterization of seed germination and protocorm development of Cyrtopodium glutiniferum (Orchidaceae) promoted by mycorrhizal fungi Epulorhiza spp.
Cyrtopodium glutiniferum is an endemic orchid of Brazil with potential medicinal and ornamental applications. As mycorrhizal fungi are essential for the initiation of the orchid life cycle, the aim of this study was to determine the strains of mycorrhizal fungi suitable for seed germination and protocorm development of C. glutiniferum and to characterize the

4. Fenologia, biologia floral e germinação in vitro de Cyrtopodium eugenii Rchb. f. &Warm. (Orchidaceae) / Fenology, floral biology and in vitro germination of Cyrtopodium eugenii Rchb.f. &Warm. (Orchidaceae)
Cyrtopodium eugenii Rchb. f. (Orchidaceae) is a specie widely distributed in Brazilian savannah, being the Planalto Central its main center of diversification. C. eugenii is a terrestrial specie, usually found in the Cerrado, growing in sand soil, dry environment and to the half shade. Due the beauty and exotic character of its flowers, C. eugenii present hi

5. Cultivo in vitro de orquídeas do grupo Cattleya, em diferentes meios de cultura e irradiâncias / Orchids cultivation in vitro of the Cattleya group, in different means of culture and light irradiations
The propagation in vitro of orchids requires specific conditions to be cultivated. This work aimed to evaluate the effects of the methods of cultivation in the process of germination and growth of the species of the Cattleya group, and establish better levels of irradiation for the growth of vitroplants. We evaluated the effects of adding doses (0,0; 1,0; 2,

6. Effects of phytohormones on thermal denaturation profiles of Cymbidium DNA: indication of differential DNA replication.
Protocorm pieces of the orchid Cymbidium were aseptically cultured either without phytohormones, or with one of the growth promoting substances, auxin cytokinin, and gibberellin. The derivative melting profiles of the extracted DNA's differ from each other with respect to the size of various AT- and GC- rich fractions. Evidence has been obtained for the incr
