1. Influence of the mode of application of universal adhesive systems on adhesive properties to fluorotic enamel
Abstract The objective of this study is to compare the resin-enamel bond strength (mμSBS), in-situ degree of conversion (DC), and the enamel-etching pattern (SEM/EDX) of universal adhesive systems when applied to sound and fluorotic enamel. Ninety-eight human molars were sectioned into 4 parts and divided into 24 groups according to 1) enamel surface (sound

2. Characteristics of adhesive bonding with enamel deproteinization

Seis dentes h

4. Twenty-four-month clinical performance of different universal adhesives in etch-and-rinse, selective etching and self-etch application modes in NCCL – a randomized controlled clinical trial
Abstract Objective The aim of this randomized, controlled, prospective clinical trial was to evaluate the performances of two different universal adhesives and one etch-rinse adhesive for restoration of non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs). Material and Methods Twenty patients with at least seven NCCLs were enrolled. Lesions were divided into seven group

6. Tooth whitening affects bond strength of adhesive systems in enamel
ABSTRACT This study presents how the tooth whitening affects the bond strength and fracture type of three distinct adhesives — a conventional, a self-etching, and a universal adhesive — in enamel. Health bovine incisors were prepared by flattening the labial surface; part of these teeth was submitted to whitening treatment with a peroxide-based product (

7. Effect of erosive challenges on deciduous teeth undergoing restorative procedures with different adhesive protocols - an in vitro study
ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate the effect of erosive challenges on the tooth- restoration interface of deciduous teeth treated with different adhesive protocols. Material and Methods: Deciduous molars were cut mesiodistally, then embedded, abraded and polished (n=80). Samples were randomly divided according to the adhesive system used into: G1 (Adper Sing

8. The effect of silver nanoparticles on composite shear bond strength to dentin with different adhesion protocols
Abstract In Dentistry, restorative materials and oral bacteria are believed to be responsible for restoration failure. To make long-lasting restorations, antibacterial agents should be made. Inorganic nanoparticles and their nano composites are applied as good antibacterial agents. Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of silver

9. Cytotoxicity of Universal, Self-Etching and Etch-and-Rinse Adhesive Systems According to the Polymerization Time

10. Effect of a desensitizing dentifrice on the bond strength of different adhesive systems
AIM: This in vitro study evaluated the effect of using a dental hypersensitivity treatment on the bond strength to dentin of etch-and-rinse and self-etching simplified adhesive systems. METHODS: 40 healthy molars were used. The crowns of teeth were removed at the dentinoenamel junction, and remaining roots were sectioned in the mesiodistal direction along th

11. Marginal microleakage of class V resin-based composite restorations bonded with six one-step self-etch systems
This study compared the microleakage of class V restorations bonded with various one-step self-etching adhesives. Seventy class V resin-based composite restorations were prepared on the buccal and lingual surfaces of 35 premolars, by using: Clearfil S 3 Bond, G-Bond, iBond, One Coat 7.0, OptiBond All-In-One, or Xeno IV.
