1. Anisakidae Skrjabin & Karokhin, 1945 and Raphidascarididae Hartwich, 1954 nematodes in lutjanidae (pisces: perciformes) from the Brazilian Northeast Coast
Exemplare

2. Dactylogyrids (Monogenoidea: Polyonchoinea) parasitizing the gills of snappers (Perciformes: Lutjanidae): revision of Euryhaliotrema with new and previously described species from the Red Sea, Persian Gulf, the eastern and Indo-west Pacific Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico
Twenty one of 29 species of snappers (Lutjanidae), examined for dactylogyrids (Monogenoidea) from the Red Sea, Persian Gulf, the Indo-west and eastern Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean Sea were parasitized by 16 new and 11 previously described species of Euryhaliotrema: Euryhaliotrema adelpha sp. nov., Euryhaliotrema anecorhizion sp. nov., Eur

3. Cytogenetic characterization of Rhomboplites aurorubens and Ocyurus chrysurus, two monotypic genera of Lutjaninae from Cubagua Island, Venezuela, with a review of the cytogenetics of Lutjanidae (Teleostei: Perciformes)

4. EvoluÃÃo das capturas, idade, crescimento e recrutamento de espÃcies de Lutjanidae do nordeste do Brasil / Catcha evolution, growth and recruitment of lutjanidae species ocurring on northeast coast off Brazil
Lutjanid species are widely distributed on tropical and subtropical seas, occurring on hard bottom environments. Constituted by one hundred and three species, the family Lutjanidae is distributed in four subfamilies (Apsilinae, Etelininae, Lutjaninae and Paradicichtinae) by four genera (Etelis, Lutjanus, Ocyurus and Rhomboplites) where eleven species of thes

5. Cytogenetic analysis in western Atlantic snappers (Perciformes, Lutjanidae)
The Lutjanidae or snappers are a family of perciform fishes, mainly marine but with some members living in estuaries and entering fresh water to feed. Some are important food fish. Cytogenetic data for Lutjanidae are scarce. In the present work, we cytogenetically characterized through conventional Giemsa staining techniques, Ag-NOR and C-banding the species

6. Can Lutjanus purpureus (South red snapper) be "legally" considered a red snapper (Lutjanus campechanus)?
Red snappers (Lutjanus purpureus in Brazil and Lutjanus campechanus in USA and Gulf of Mexico) are both under clear effect of overfishing. Because of their high morphological similarity it has already been suggested that they could possibly be considered as a single species. To investigate the degree of similarity and the genetic structure of red snapper pop

7. Bathymetric trends of northeastern Brazilian snappers (Pisces, Lutjanidae): implications for the reef fishery dynamic
8. A Pesca sobre os Recifes de coral e os ecosistemas adjacentes: estudo de caso do nordeste do Brasil / The fishing activity on coral reefs and adjacent ecosystems. A case study of the Northeast of Brazil
