1. Protein-mediated surface structuring in biomembranes
The lipids and proteins of biomembranes exhibit highly dissimilar conformations, geometrical shapes, amphipathicity, and thermodynamic properties which constrain their two-dimensional molecular packing, electrostatics, and interaction preferences. This causes inevitable development of large local tensions that frequently relax into phase or compositional imm

2. Efeito Kerr magneto-óptico espectral e sperimagnetismo de filmes amorfos de terra rara-Co / Spectral magneto-optical Kerr effect and magnetism-speri of the films of amorphous rare earth-Co
We have observed the spectral behavior of the transverse magnetooptical Kerr effect (TMOKE) in thin films of rare earth - cobalt amorphous alloys for the visible and the near-ultraviolet ranges of spectrurn (wavelength fiom 325 nm up to 670 nm). The relative change of reflectivity has shown a maximum at the blue wavelength. We have concluded that this magnet

3. Phase conjugation and transverse self-phase modulation in Cr+3 doped crystals / Conjugação de fase e modulação transversal de fase em cristais dopados com Cr+3
In this work we studied theoretical and experimentally the effects of Phase Conjugation by Degenerate Four Wave Mixing and Transversal Phase (PCD4WM) Modulation in Cr+3 doped crystals. We studied the PDC4WM in Al2O3:Cr+3 (ruby) and GdAlO3:Cr+3 with on Ar laser (at λ= 514 nm) and obtained a good agreement between our experimental and theoretical results
